Liverpool-based band She Drew The Gun are continuing to impress with their latest single, ‘Cut Me Down’. It is taken from their upcoming album, Behave Myself, which drops on September 24^th, 2021 and is accompanied by a masterful music video. The gritty slice of grungy, punky indie track is perfectly balanced by a video full of shifting colour, inspired by the blindfolded Las Tesis protests in Chile. “Thousands of women took to the streets and performed a song and dance using blindfolds in protest of structural state violence against women,” explains Louis Roach. “It brought a whole new level to the idea of a protest song, and spread around the world becoming a transnational feminist act of solidarity.” -Dan Peeke
